Church Offertory & Gift Aid: Supporting the Parish through Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer and not currently part of the Gift Aid Scheme, you can significantly support the parish by joining. For every £1 you donate, the parish can reclaim an additional 25p from HMRC at no extra cost to you. Joining is simple. You only need to complete a Gift Aid declaration with your name and address—no further personal or financial details are required. There is no minimum donation, no obligation to give regularly, and you are free to start or stop at any time.
To qualify for Gift Aid, donations must be made using a Gift Aid envelope or, preferably, by standing order or cheque, which also helps reduce the workload for our volunteer counters. If you would like to enrol in the Gift Aid Scheme, please complete the form and return it to the Gift Aid Organiser at the parish address.
